I'm Here Now

It’s always a joy when the music that I make can inspire some sort of creative experience within a listener. That is truly one of the best things that can happen for anybody who composes/write songs/etc. So when the super talented Samaya Wives wanted to use my song “When You Hold Your Breath, You Lose It, Pt. 1” for a modern ballet, I was and remain very touched. In collaboration with The Staats Ballet in Berlin, they created a beautiful ballet and short film about connection. And it’s a beautiful reminder that we are all here for each other, all the time, even when it feels like we are so very alone.

I am going through a personal crisis in my life right now and this message rings more clearly than ever. I am beyond grateful for every creature on this earth. I am grateful for my friends and my family and even those that I am in dispute with.

And I am so grateful to the Samaya Wives for taking something that I made and making it bigger. May we all do that for each other.
